Once you start to see where things are slowing down you can start to brainstorm ways to get them moving again. If it's one employee causing the issue you can cross train others to help them out, delegate some work to other employees or simply talk with your employee to find out if there is some external issue keeping them from doing their job in a timely manner. If multiple employees are involved look for ways to streamline your process. Does everyone need to be involved in the process, or can some of the tasks be grouped together and assigned to one individual?
