Labeling Within Your Online Inventory System

We have been busy with Stockpile lately adding a few features. One of the new features is the ability to "label" your inventory. "What is labeling?", you say. Well, you might be familiar with it from other services used on the internet. Here are a few examples: Delicious, flickr, Gmail and many more. These services provide the ability to "tag" things like emails, photos and bookmarks with naming convention that works for individual users. We knew each of you categorize things differently; hence the addition of labels within our online inventory system, Stockpile. Now it's easier than ever to create categories for things like size, color, weight, etc. For example, maybe you categorize shirts by size. Then just create the labels small, medium and large. It's that easy and they can be used by any item associated with your Stockpile account.

With labeling now available in Stockpile, this provides the freedom to organize your inventory based on labels that meet your business's needs. For example if you had a red small t-shirt, you
could label it with the color "red" and the size of "small". At a later time, you could them filter items in your catalog with the labels "red" or "small". These are just the beginning! You could label things based on what they are made of ("cotton" or "steel"), textures ("rough" or "smooth") and basically anything that suits your business.
