Upcoming features in our online inventory system!

It's been busy at Canvus Apps this Spring already! We've seen a hefty number of new businesses sign on and are experiencing growth beyond our expectations. With that in mind, it's time our online inventory system got some new features. A few of those are described below:

  • transfer stock: With this feature, a small business owner can easily transfer stock from one location to another without interrupting business or screwing up the integrity of your reports. Oftentimes, you'll find yourself with one location that has more stock than they need while another does without. Why not just simply transfer that stock to another location? With our upcoming feature, this is a simple as the click of a button! And your reports will reflect accurately as well creating a line item the transfer and correctly calculating zero-balance transactions (meaning your profit, cost, etc. is unaffected).
  • deleting items: History shows us humans make mistakes and/or change their minds. When you make a mistake, an undo button is great in the present but a delete button is even better as time passes. Maybe you don't realize what you've done until weeks later. Never fear, delete is hear. With this feature, you can delete items and later restore them if the delete itself was a mistake! Happy mistake making! Also, this is great for situations where you no longer carry items and don't care if you track their history. Delete and forget they ever existed.
  • improved architecture: There's not a lot we can say here without exposing our setup. Just know that we spend a ton of time ensuring your system functions properly and scales as we add clients. Just think of it as maid service for your inventory system. We just appreciate your patronage and are happy to do this on an ongoing basis.
