Stockpile (free online inventory system) – Application Ease of Use.

Wikipedia defines "Ease of Use" or "Usability" as the learn ability of a human-made object. The primary notion of ease of use, is that the object design is easy to learn and efficient to use. An inventory management system is a simple concept, that has often been made complex, by software designers. Too many buttons and features fill the screen, with each button performing its own task.  This may overwhelm a new user of the system. If you're looking for a an easy-to-use and free online inventory system, then look no further. Stockpile, by Canvus Apps, is the tool for you and your small business.

Parts is parts. An inventory management software program should have an easy to learn interface and allow the user to instantly have a visual idea, of what their inventory picture looks like.  On a single screen, a user should be able to enter in their inventory item and the quantity that is on hand. Later on, the user should be able to easily navigate for that particular item, to add or subtract quantities of it.

Stockpile, the free online inventory management system, does this. The home screen of the application gives the user the ability to add or subtract inventory using the "+add" and "-remove" buttons. A user can easily search for a part by Name or by its SKU.  When characters are entered in the Name or SKU Search field, the user's search is narrowed.  The more characters that are entered into the search field, the easier it is to locate the part.

Stockpile's user interface is easy to understand and easily learned, which is what Ease of Use is all about.
